Project Update - Waterloo Park Playground Upgrade

In May 2022, the City of Ryde conducted a Have Your Say for the Waterloo Park Playground Upgrade seeking community feedback on the draft concept plans for the playground upgrade. Community comment closed on on Wednesday, 1 June 2022. 

The community's feedback was valuable in forming the playground's design and we are now pleased to inform the community that the works are due to commence. 

What will the works involve?

The new playground will include the installation of an interactive water feature, table tennis, additional play equipment, new range of pavements, seating and landscaping works.

Timing of Works

Construction start: Tuesday 11 April 2023
Expected Completion: Mid June 2023, weather permitting

The existing playground will remain available for use during construction with fencing to barricade the works, however one of the existing picnic shelters will be unavailable.
