In October last year, we asked for your feedback on the City of Ryde’s proposal to install ‘NO PARKING 5AM – 11AM TUESDAY’ controls on one side of Redshaw Street, including the cul-de-sac, as part of a program to assist waste‑collection vehicles access narrow streets across the City of Ryde.
CONSIDERATION OF PUBLIC FEEDBACK
The previous proposal was generally supported by local residents, however some concerns were raised regarding which side of Redshaw Street the proposed parking controls should apply.
Further investigations have been undertaken which take into consideration the feedback received and that Council’s waste‑collection contractors currently have difficulty accessing Redshaw Street for Tuesday morning collection due to parked cars.
City of Ryde is now seeking feedback on a revised proposal to install ‘NO PARKING 5AM–11AM TUESDAY’ on the north-eastern side of Redshaw Street, including the cul-de-sac.
