Study rooms are available for use during opening hours at Ryde and West Ryde Libraries. Please speak to staff in the library or phone Ryde Library on 9952 8352 or West Ryde Library on 9952 8376 for more information regarding the use and booking of study rooms.

Ryde Library:

  • Pope Room can be booked for 1 - 4 people
  • Blaxland Room can be booked for 1 - 4 people
  • Devlin Room can be booked for 3 - 8 people

West Ryde Library:

  • Study Room 1 can be booked for 4-8 people
  • Study Room 2 can be booked for 4-10 people

One person in the group must be a library member with an active library card to book a study room. Bookings can be made for up to 2 hours a day, and only one week in advance.

When your booking is due to start, please see a staff member at the front desk to verify your study room is ready. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your booking it is liable to be cancelled and made available for others to book.

Rooms may not be used for commercial or business purposes (e.g. private tutoring). Please note Council has a variety of Community Venues that can be hired.

We ask you to keep your volume moderate, as rooms are not soundproof.
