Pre-design engagement

Council has a long-term community vision for the City of Ryde to be a place where lifestyle and opportunity are right at your doorstep.

To support this vision, we are focusing on upgrading small and neighbourhood town centres to enhance:

  • local commerce
  • night-time activity
  • outdoor dining
  • safety
  • and accessibility.

This can help make our centres more attractive to businesses, workers, residents, and visitors.

We want to work closely with our local community to help plan the renewal of the Blenheim Road Shops Public Domain.

Your Comments and Feedback

As part of the pre-design engagement, Council invited community feedback on the Blenheim Road Shops Public Domain Renewal.

From 1 May - 1 June 2025, we heard from business owners, workers, customers, and residents on what upgrades they would like to see.

The feedback received will help inform the renewal designs.
