RALC General Terms and Conditions - 22 June to 30 June 2020

From Monday 22 June 2020, the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre will reopen (with restrictions in place) following the easing of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions by the NSW Government.

The following terms and conditions apply to patrons from 22-30 June 2020.

Note: From 1 July, the Centre will operate applying the 4m2 per person limit whilst maintaining social distancing requirements.  

  • Normal Entry fees/conditions apply
  • General entry for users undertaking general lap swimming (including walking).
  • Maximum three (3) persons per lane.
  • Members of the general public will be required to sign in with their name and contact phone number or email upon arrival.
  • Members of the public are requested to sanitise their hands at the sanitisation stations prior to approaching the reception desk or member’s turnstile.
  • Preferred payment is by card.
  • Children 10 years and under are not permitted to swim alone. A parent / guardian 16 years of age or over must be present and actively responsible for this child whilst in the centre.
  • Multi-visit passes will be extended by 3 months (period of closure 23 March to 21 June).
  • Membership passes that have been suspended during COVID-19 related restrictions will be extended by 3 months (period of closure 23 March to 21 June).
  • Change facilities have limited access – please take note of directional signage.
  • Patrons are required to shower and use toilet facilities before leaving home.
  • Toilets will be available, however use should be minimised.
  • Kiosk will be available during limited hours. A maximum of 16 people can sit in the Kiosk seating area at a time.
  • Social distancing principles must be followed at all times. All directions from staff to adhere to social distancing must be followed. Failure to respond to staff directions will result in eviction from the facility.
  • Centre Staff will refuse entry to any patrons that present with symptoms of illness. Symptoms include: coughing, fever, sore throat. If you’re unwell, do not attend the facility. Individual temperature checks may be performed if deemed necessary by staff.
  • At the conclusion of a visit, patrons must leave the centre immediately.
  • Spectator entries are permitted with normal entry fees/conditions applicable.
  • Those eligible under the City of Ryde pensioner entry scheme may use the facility as per normal.

Terms and conditions for the stadium during the period 22 June 2020 to 30 June 2020

  • Stadium is available for badminton bookings of up to 4 courts only and casual basketball with a maximum of 2 people per available space.
  • Spectators must remain in the seating area and maintain social distancing requirements at all times.
  • Change facilities have limited access – please take note of directional signage.
  • Toilets will be available, however use should be minimised.
  • Participants are to arrive dressed ready for their activity.
