Received Voluntary Planning Agreements on Exhibition

Council has received the following proposed Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs) as published in Northern District Times Newspaper.

 Please Note: Not all VPAs received by the Council require advertising. Please refer to the Ryde Development Control Plan 2014: Part 2.1 Notification of Development Applications (PDF 1.6 MB) for further information.

VOLUNTARY PLANNING AGREEMENTS

Property: 11-17 Khartoum Road and 33-39 Talavera Road  Macquarie Park NSW 2113 (Lots 1 in DP633221) (Site) in association with a Staged Development for redevelopment of the Site incorporating five Staged Commercial Office Buildings with Stage 1 being 10 storey Building with 3 basement levels and 17,759sqm of floor area in Development Application - LDA2017/0547.
Applicant: Stockland Trust Management Limited as Responsible Entity for the Advance Property Fund
Description: The above development is to be determined by the North Sydney Regional Planning Panel in the near future, which will require the Developer to enter into a Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) with Council:

The VPA provides the following Public Benefits:

  • Dedication and Construction of a Road as part of the Macquarie Park Access network to the agreed value of $4,860,000
  • Construction of a Pedestrian Link with Public Access Easement as part of the Macquarie Park Access network to the agreed value of $1,880,000
  • Reconstruction of Public Domain along Khartoum Road and Talavera Road frontages to an agreed value of $1,620,000
  • Pay monetary contributions in accordance with the current contribution plan and incentive contribution rate to a combined value of $5,766,647 over the life of the development

Submissions regarding the above Planning Agreement must be lodged no later than Wednesday 6 November 2019Please quote File No. VPA2017/547/7 when making any submission on this matter.

The above applications are not ‘designated development’ under the terms of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, and the City of Ryde is the authority responsible for the determination of the applications.

Making Submissions
Anyone may make submissions concerning these applications. Submissions are required to be in writing, and should the submission be by way of objection to the proposal, the submission should specify the grounds of objection. They should be addressed to:

Council has resolved that all submissions received in relation to rezoning and development applications will be publicly accessible on request.
