City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to introduce a No Parking zone on the southern side of Carlisle Close, Macquarie Park.

The proposal will ensure two-way traffic flow is maintained on Carlisle Close for residents in the area.

WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED CHANGES?

Council is proposing to install No Parking on the southern side of Carlisle Close, to a point directly opposite the access driveway to 1 Carlisle Close.

In addition to these improvements, the statutory No Stopping restrictions at the intersection of Carlisle Close and Khartoum Road will be signposted.

WHY IS THE CHANGE BEING CONSIDERED?

Currently if cars are parked on both sides of the road, the width of the carriageway only allows one-way traffic flow to occur.  The proposed changes will ensure that two‑way traffic flow is maintained at all times for residents in the area.
