Consultation closed on 24 June 2018

As part of the City of Ryde's commitment to safety and access, Donald Street, North Ryde has been listed for construction of a concrete footpath in the 2018/2019 financial year. This footpath is proposed on the Southern and Western sides of the street between Blenheim Road and Morsehead Street as detailed in the above image.

Where is Donald Street, North Ryde listed for the construction of a new footpath?
Donald Street, is listed for footpath construction in the 2017-2021 Four Year Delivery Plan (Delivery Plan) as per the above image.

How did Donald Street, North Ryde get listed in the Delivery Plan?
Donald Street has been listed for construction as part of the Footpath Expansion Program due to customer requests.

Does the footpath need to be on the Southern and Western sides of the street?
This is the preferred side of the road to construct a footpath for pedestrian safety and to avoid level differences.

Can Donald Street, North Ryde be removed from the Delivery Plan?
Only a resolution of Council can remove works listed in the Delivery Plan. To request that Council resolve to remove works from the Delivery Plan a report would need to go up to Council showing that a majority of the households from the street 'do not support' the works listed.
