The City of Ryde’s draft Children’s Play Plan - 5 Year Review and Update is on public exhibition for review and community comment.

The aim of the Play Plan is to ensure that all families within the City of Ryde have access to safe, accessible and high quality playgrounds. The recommendations of the Play Plan will assist the City with future planning and programming for playground improvements, replacements and maintenance all guided by a strategic approach. This 5 Year Review and Update ensures recommendations adapt to the changing needs of our City and community.

Currently, there are 97 playgrounds across the City of Ryde comprising 23 destination playgrounds and 74 everyday playgrounds. 

Hard Copies of the Plan

From Wednesday 21 August until Wednesday 18 September 2019, hard copies of the draft Children's Play Plan - 5 year review and update are available to be viewed at:

  • Customer Service Centre
    1 Pope Street, Ryde 
    (Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm)
  • All City of Ryde Libraries
    (during branch hours)
