City of Ryde Council is seeking community comment for the changes to its draft Code of Meeting Practice (the Code) which governs the way the City of Ryde conducts Council and Committee meetings, up until Wednesday 28 March 2018.

The Code sets standards for the calling, conduct and recording of Council and Committee meetings, ensuring the structure and process provides fair opportunities for all interested parties to contribute.

What are the key changes to the Code?

This draft Code has been updated to address changes to Council’s Meeting Structure, including the removal of the Planning and Environment Committee Meeting due to the introduction of mandatory Independent Hearing Assessment Panels.
