201512 - HYS - MREC - Smoking free
Council is currently trialling Eastwood Plaza as a Smoke Free Zone for 6 months from 1 July 2015.  This trial will benefit both residents and visitors to Eastwood, making the Plaza a cleaner, healthier place to visit.

The City of Ryde was an early adopter of State Government policies to address the adverse impacts of smoking. The Smoke Free Zone trial at Eastwood Plaza continues Council’s efforts to respond to its community by improving health and well-being.
