The City of Ryde is developing a local Resilience Plan that will help the community to better respond to and bounce back from local acute shocks, on-going chronic stresses and global pressures negatively impacting our way of life.

Every neighbourhood, business, community and city is faced with risks and yet most do not have a clear direction of what to do when faced with difficulties.

Council aspires to be a leader in resilience, by equipping our local community with the tools that strengthen the ability to survive, adapt and thrive.

We need your help to ensure we have the right priorities, initiatives and strategies for this goal.

As part of Council’s community engagement program, we want to hear from people living, working and studying in the local government area to better understand your levels of preparedness and to listen to your ideas and needs.
