Volunteer Strategy Survey

Consultation closed on 18 March 2018
Are you a volunteer?
Do you want to volunteer?
Are you part of an organisation that needs volunteers?

City of Ryde is currently developing a Volunteer Strategy which will provide guidance on volunteer opportunities and support programs within the local area.

Volunteers are people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Some people volunteer each week on an ongoing basis while others volunteers for a short period of time. City of Ryde believes volunteering opportunities should be available to everyone.

Currently City of Ryde supports local volunteer opportunities including bushcare, Council events and opportunities in our libraries. Council coordinates a volunteer referral service to support organisations to source volunteers. Council also provides volunteer training sessions and recognition activities.

Through a short survey we would like to hear about your volunteering experiences, what has worked well and what improvements you would suggest. We would also be interested in hearing from people who are not yet volunteering but would like to get involved.
