Yangalla Street, Marsfield – No Parking Saturdays – April to August

Consultation closed on 13 September 2019

City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to install No Parking restrictions along one side of Yangalla Street, Marsfield to address localised congestion issues that occur on the street during the rugby season.

What are the proposed changes?

In order to address localised congestion and improve access for local residents, Council is proposing to install No Parking restrictions on the southern-side of Yangalla Street which would only apply on Saturdays during the rugby season between April and August.

Why is the change being considered?

Yangalla Street has a narrow carriageway and when cars are parked on both sides of the road, only one way traffic flow can occur.  Access to and from resident driveways is also restricted when vehicles are parked immediately opposite driveways.
