2024 Council Elections
The Local Government elections will be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024.
The elections are administered by the NSW Electoral Commission and voting is compulsory for people enrolled in the City of Ryde Local Government Area.

Voting Eligibility
If you’re a resident of the City of Ryde, you can check your enrolment details are up to date with the Australian Electoral Commission.
Election of Mayor
On Saturday, 14 September 2024, in conjunction with the Council Elections, City of Ryde voters will receive an additional ballot paper where they will elect the Mayor for a four (4) year term.
