Donate your old bikes at the Revolve Recycling stall during the Sustainability Festival at Ryde Wharf Markets and give your bike a second life.
As part of this initiative, Revolve Recycling will refurbish, repurpose, or recycle the bikes collected at the event. By donating, you’ll not only be reducing waste but also helping create affordable and eco-friendly transportation options for others.
At the event, we’ll accept bikes in any condition, making it easier than ever to donate and make a difference. It’s an easy and meaningful way to support sustainability, help others, and clear out space in your garage!
How it works
- Bring your unwanted bikes to the Revolve Recycling stall during anytime of the Sustainability Festival (9am - 2pm, Sunday 10 August)
- If you want your bike free tune-ups while donating your old bikes, make sure to book one of the free 15 minute session in advance here.
- Spread the word to friends, family, and neighbours — the more bikes we collect, the greater the impact!
- Come visit us and learn more about our efforts in sustainability and the circular economy.
Why Donate?
- Support the Circular Economy: Your old bike can be repurposed or recycled into something new.
- Reduce Waste: Instead of contributing to landfill, your donation helps reduce waste and save resources.
- Help disadvantaged kids through Revolves bike equity practices: Refurbished bikes will be given a second life, providing affordable, sustainable transport for those in need.
This initiative is part of Council’s Waste Education Program.
