Consultation closed on 24 May 2020

The City of Ryde’s draft Art Collection Management Policy is on public exhibition for community comment. Council recognises the important role of art as a form of cultural expression and heritage, and holds an art collection on behalf of the City of Ryde community. The draft City of Ryde Art Collection Management Policy defines the aspirations, purpose and objectives of Council’s Art Collection (the Collection) and outlines the processes and standards for its ongoing development and management. This policy includes guidelines for acquisition (adding items to the Collection through gifts or purchase) and deaccessioning (removing items from the Collection).
