The last few years have shown us that emergencies such as storms, floods, heatwaves and bushfires can often happen without warning. These events can impact our families, jobs, finances and health if we are not prepared. The good news is we can plan ahead and become more resilient in the face of emergency situations.
During Emergency Ready Week from 19-25 September, City of Ryde is encouraging our community to take a few simple steps to help get prepared for possible future emergency situations.
Visit Council’s Resilient Ryde website for a full list of what you can do to protect yourself and your property before, during and after storms, floods, heatwaves and bushfires.
