The Cork and Fork Festival will be bustling with activities and large crowds are expected over the day. To fully enjoy the event, we advise planning your trip in advance.

Here you’ll find essential information on parking, walking or cycling, accessible drop-off zone and important road closures to help with traffic management and safety.

Parking

Parking is limited, so we recommend using public transport as your primary option. Public parking is available on surrounding streets and limited parking is available in Cleves Park (weather dependant).

Please remember to drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.

Walk or cycle

Walk or cycle if you live nearby or prefer to get some exercise, the Cork and Fork Festival encourages walkers and cyclists to the event. Please check the distance and route options using your preferred map supplier.

Free Event Shuttle Bus

We have a FREE Shuttle bus service, stops include Meadowbank station, Putney shops and Kissing Point Park Ferry Wharf to help minimise traffic congestion. From 1pm we will be adding a stop to our bronze sponsor Village Days Brewing Co. to the route. The shuttle bus will come around approximately every 20 minutes. The last shuttle will be leaving Kissing Point Park at 4.30pm.

Accessible drop-off zone

If you have a mobility parking permit and require close access to the Festival, use our designated vehicle drop-off zone on Douglas Street located on the map. There will be limited accessible parking available in Cleves Park.

Train

Unfortunately, track works are scheduled for the T9 line on Sunday 17 May.

Replacement buses will be running this line to Meadowbank station.

Walk to Railway Road bus stop to where our festival shuttle bus will taking you to and from the event approximately every 20 minutes between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Kissing Point Ferry Wharf is located at the southern end of the event site.

Important road closure

A section of Waterview Street (between Douglas and Charles St) will be closed from 7am Sunday 17 May until 7pm Sunday 17 May (or until safe to re-open).

Council will install ‘No Stopping’ signs along both sides of Douglas Street and Waterview St, between Douglas and Charles St to prepare for the closure.
