Refugee Week is dedicated to enhancing awareness surrounding refugees, their challenges, and the invaluable contributions they bring to their local and wider Australian community.

In 2024, the core theme is "Finding Freedom Through Family" emphasising the transformative force of familial and chosen bonds during times of adversity and change. This theme underscores the pivotal role families and connections play in offering comfort, support, and a sense of belonging to individuals especially with a refugee experience.
