The City of Ryde is working to improve our parks and sportsgrounds to better meet the current and future needs of the community. Earlier this year, we asked for your ideas and suggestions on Westminster Park and how the park can be improved, managed and maintained into the future.

Based on your feedback we have created a draft Masterplan for Westminster Park which includes a synthetic sports field with field drainage, sports field lighting, a community building, amenities building, water station, additional trees, improved connectivity with Monash Park and other general park improvements.

Council now invites you to provide feedback on the draft Masterplan for Westminster Park.

WHY IS A MASTERPLAN NEEDED?

Council delivers a wide range of sport and recreation services and natural areas through a network of regional, district, neighbourhood and local open spaces, parklands, sportsgrounds and facilities.

While the network has served the community well for many years, Council recognises that within the context of a rapidly growing and changing area, the roles and functions of our parks and facilities need to be reviewed and updated to meet the community's needs.

WHAT DOES THE MASTERPLAN PROCESS INVOLVE?
