In August 2020, the City of Ryde asked for feedback on a proposal to trial a number of new dog off-leash areas across the City. These areas were recommended in the Dog Recreation Needs Study to meet the needs of our growing community.

Based on your feedback, Council is commencing a 6-month trial of 4 new dog off-leash areas. The trial will run from Monday 19 October 2020 –  Sunday 11 April 2021 at the following sites:

During the 6-month trial, Council would like to hear your thoughts on the new dog off-leash facilities, what you like and any ideas or suggestions for improvement.

Moore Park, Eastwood will not be included as part of the trial due to a requirement for fencing. However, the site will be open for feedback during the trial period as a proposed future dog off-leash area.

*Note: Beach Parks are not patrolled and owners will be required to supervise their dogs at all times
