Problem Waste Drop-Off Stations

What is a problem waste drop-off station?

The Problem Waste Drop-off Stations are for City of Ryde residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste items that are not allowed in your kerbside red, yellow or green lid bins.

These items include household batteries, mobile phones and accessories, ink cartridges and light bulbs and globes.

If problem waste is placed in any of your kerbside bins, they can contribute to contamination of recyclable products or leachate in landfill. They also contain heavy metals and components harmful to human health and the environment so it is best to dispose of them safely and correctly!

What is accepted at a problem waste drop-off station?
