People on a bushwalk
Come join us with the knowledgeable Jennifer Farrer on a guided bushwalk at Darvall Park.

Immerse yourself in the few remaining Critically Endangered Blue Gum High Forest left in the local government area and see how it is being restored through Bushcare.

You will learn about the history of the park and even see or hear birds hiding amongst the trees as you walk through the heart of Darvall Park. Many small animals and birds rely on these bushland corridors for shelter and to forage for food. Bring your family and friends along and enjoy your Saturday morning in nature!

A Korean interpreter will be provided on the day.

Please wear sturdy enclosed shoes, a hat, preferably a long sleeved shirt and long pants and bring a bottle of water. There are BBQ facilities and toilets located at the park.

Terrain: Relatively flat but uneven surface along the bush track with a few steps and bridge crossings. Not suitable for prams and mobility devices. Approximately 1.5km long.

Parking: Street parking along Chatham Rd, Denistone.

Registration: Limited tickets, registration is a must.
