Join us for an evening of inclusive creativity in this edition of Rainbow Art Journaling for 25+ year olds celebrating gratitude.

In this workshop, you’ll create art inspired by your inner self - no prior artistic skills required! Just bring your curiosity and an open mind and let your imagination flow as you explore new forms of self-expression.

This will be the first adult session of an exciting new monthly workshop series Rainbow Art Journaling, led by Sneha Sobti.

These creative sessions will be held on alternate months and are designed for two age groups:

  • 16-25 years at West Ryde Library (2nd Thursday of the month)
  • 25+ years at Ryde Library (2nd Tuesday of the month)

Each month will feature a theme to prompt your creativity.

Expect a warm, inclusive environment where all identities are welcomed and celebrated. All attendees are expected to be respectful of each other.

This is a chance to explore self-expression, connect with others, and make new friends in the local community!

Please arrive by 6:00 pm for a prompt start.

Workshop highlights

Art journaling offers benefits such as stress reduction, mindfulness, emotional expression, and a way to cultivate meaning in life.

The workshop will begin with a grounding activity to help everyone settle in, followed by dedicated time for creating your art journal using a variety of techniques and materials provided.

After the creative session, we’ll come together to share and discuss our artwork, fostering connection and reflection - helping you feel more in tune with yourself and others.

This will be a queer-friendly space for participants aged 25+ years to explore your inner artist and express yourself freely, through any medium that speaks to you.

Come as you are and leave with your journal and new friends! It’s all about connecting, creating, and communicating through art.

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any personal items that inspire you.

This project is grant funded by City of Ryde.

Light refreshments will be served. See you there!
