What is “EVERYBODY Dance Now”?

EVERYBODY Dance Now is a fun, inclusive disco program for adults (18 and over) of all abilities to come together, connect, and dance the afternoon away.

This free program runs quarterly and is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy great music, and have a good time.

Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: North Ryde School of Arts Community Centre

Do I need to book or register in advance?

Yes, bookings are essential to help us manage capacity and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. You can register online or contact us directly if you need assistance.


If I am under 18, can I attend?

Unfortunately, the event is open to adults 18 years and older only.

Is the venue accessible?

The venue is wheelchair accessible and includes accessible toilets. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know when registering so we can support you.

Can carers or support workers attend?

Yes, carers and support workers are encouraged to attend. Entry is free for all.

What can I expect on the night?

A fun, safe, and inclusive night of music, dancing, and socialising! There will be a DJ playing popular hits, and light refreshments (tea, coffee, juice and biscuits) available.

Where can I park?

Free parking, including accessible parking spaces, is available on Coxs Road and across from the venue.

Can I bring alcohol to the event?

No, this is a drug and alcohol-free event. We kindly ask all attendees to respect this policy to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

Attendees who do not follow this policy will be asked to leave the event.

Will food and drinks be provided at the event?

The City of Ryde will provide tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits for attendees during the event. You are also welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks if you prefer; however, please ensure that any personal food items are kept with you at all times and not left unattended. There are also a number of local restaurants and cafes near the venue where you can purchase food before or after the event.
