Ryde Certifiers offer a comprehensive range of building certification services, including building approvals (CDC and CC) construction inspections and PCA appointment for a range of residential projects. Our expert certifiers are professionally qualified and accredited building surveyors who form part of an established and multidisciplinary team able to provide ongoing support to all customers.

Complying Development Certificates

A CDC is a combined planning and construction approval that applies to a range of development types that are able to meet development standards under State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008.

Construction Certificates

A Construction Certificate (CC) must be obtained before any building or construction work commences once a Development Application has been approved.

Appointment of a Principal Certifier (PC)

Before any building work can commence, a Principle Certifier (PC) must be appointed following the issuance of a DA or CDC.

Critical Stage Inspections and Occupation Certificates

These are mandatory inspections to be undertaken by appointed Principal Certifier before, during and at the completion of a building project to ensure that the development is constructed in accordance with the development approval. These inspections are required prior to the issuance of any Occupation Certificate.

Building Information Certificates

A Building Information Certificate (BIC) is issued by the local Council to confirm that existing building works comply with relevant regulations.

Swimming Pool Compliance Certificates

A swimming pool/spa certificate of compliance is required for buying, selling or leasing a property with a swimming pool in NSW.

Hoardings

A hoarding approval is required when Council land is used for site fencing or protective structures, whether as a condition of consent or without a DA in place. Ryde Certifiers can issue the necessary certification to ensure compliance.

Annual Fire Safety Statement

Fire safety is the responsibility of all property owners, property manager, tenants, and business operators who own, occupy or manage buildings in the area ranging from various type of residential to commercial, retail and industrial premises.
