Lunar New Year Festival
The much-loved Lunar New Year Festival will be held in the heart of Eastwood on Saturday 28 February 2026, celebrating the Year of the Horse. The festival will feature amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, cultural performances, fireworks and an incredible lion high pole performance.
This year’s Festival will be expanding, as we activate KoreaTown along Railway Parade from 12pm – 5pm, with Eastwood Oval coming to life from 4pm – 9pm.
Applications are now closed for stallholders and performers.
If you missed out on the 2026 festival, mark your calendars: applications will reopen in October 2026! To receive updates, stallholders can register to our Stallholder Database, and performers can sign up to our Artist Registry to stay informed.
Volunteers play a large role in the success of the festival and is a great way to meet new friends in the community and learn more about the running of a large-scale event. If you are interested in volunteering, we have a variety of roles to offer, so apply now by clicking the button below. Applications close midnight Sunday 11 January 2026.
