Join us at Ryde Library for 'Connecting with Your Community' Expo, as a variety of local social and community groups come together under one space.
There will be over 14 social groups for you to connect with - find out what they do, join the group if it matches your interest, sign up for volunteering programs, share ideas & resources and get inspried by what's on offer.
When you're socially connected to others in your community, it improves your wellbeing and helps prevent developing illnesses such as dementia later in life.
Morning Tea will be provided.

About Social Inclusion Week
Social Inclusion Week (SIW) is about encouraging communities to reconnect and be inclusive of all cultures, age groups, nationalities and abilities.
Founded by Jonathon Welch AM, and now delivered and managed by Play It Forward, SIW was launched in 2009 as a way for communities to share knowledge and experience, and raise awareness.
