Join us for a free workshop presented by the Autralian Red Cross to learn how best to deal with extreme heat events before Summer starts!

Join us at Ryde Library for this FREE Extreme Heat Preparedness - get prepared before the heat of Summer starts.

Heat impacts more people than any other disasters combined. Learn the practical, psychological and social steps to take during extreme heat.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about extreme heat and heatwaves
  • And the physical, mental and financial impacts
  • Identify your support network, and who relies on you
  • Make a heat plan for you, and your loved ones; and
  • Learn what to pack when preparing for extreme heat
