City of Ryde Libraries subscribes to many online databases and research resources, containing a wide variety of information on subjects including health, science, law, history and literature; as well as newspaper and magazine articles. Some of these databases are freely available, and others may require you to LOGIN in order to access them. All are available in the library and in most cases, you can access these resources from home or anywhere you have an internet connection.

Australian Bureau of Statistics - Along with free statistics, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) also provide related information and services on a wide range of economic, social and environmental matters.

Community Profile - The City of Ryde Community Profile provides demographic analysis for the City and its suburbs based on results from the 2016, 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing. The profile is updated with population estimates when the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
