Tea and scones at Eastwood's CWA tea rooms

Published on 24 March 2022

With the weather cooling down, now's the time to drop by the Country Women's Association (CWA) tea rooms in Eastwood for handmade treats and crafts.

The CWA was established in 1922 and is Australia's largest women's organisation. Its Eastwood tea rooms are run by volunteers of the Eastwood-Epping branch, with all proceeds donated to charities and community projects. Located at the Women's Rest Centre on West Parade, Eastwood (behind Eastwood Library), they're open every week day from 10am-3pm.

Offering their famous Devonshire teas - two scones with jam and cream and a tea or coffee - they also sell local honey, homemade jams, handicrafts and second-hand books. Bulk orders of scones can be made in advance.

Facilities include the tea room, baby change facility, shop and rest rooms. All are welcome.
