Learn how to reduce your food waste through composting.

Compost is a valuable organic resource that can be added to soil to help plants grow. It helps reduce water consumption in your garden and reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill, which is great for the environment and your wallet!

Join Toni Salter "The Veggie Lady" to learn how to set up and maintain your own compost bin and successfully produce compost for your garden.

This workshop is being hosted by City of Ryde Circular Economy and City of Ryde Libraries. This workshop is for City of Ryde residents only.

Please note:

  • Participants from City of Ryde will be provided with a 50% discount voucher to purchase a worm farm or compost bin after attending this workshop.
  • Please bring your own pair of gloves for our interactive gardening demonstration.
