Looking for a fun, friendly way to stay active, meet new people, and keep your mind sharp? Join our Puzzles & Games Group – a relaxed and inclusive monthly meet-up where laughter, friendly competition, and good company come together. The group will meet at Ryde Library on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 10.00am – 12.00pm.
Each session offers a wide variety of activities to suit all interests and experience levels. Choose from classic board games, card games, and collaborative jigsaw puzzles, or simply enjoy a chat and a cuppa with others in a warm and welcoming environment. You are welcome to bring your own favourite game to share with others. Whether you’re a seasoned game strategist, a casual card player, or a puzzle enthusiast, there’s something for everyone.
🧠 Boost your brainpower Games challenge memory, concentration and problem-solving skills, helping to keep your mind active and engaged in an enjoyable way.
🤝 Strengthen social connections Meet new people, share stories, and build friendships. Social interaction plays an important role in reducing feelings of isolation and enhancing overall wellbeing.
😊 Support emotional wellbeing Laughter, friendly play and a sense of belonging can improve mood and reduce stress.
🖐️ Enhance physical and motor skills Handling cards, counting tiles, and completing puzzles can help maintain fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
