Australia Day

On Australia Day, we come together as a nation to celebrate our diverse society and landscape, our remarkable achievements and our bright future.

It is also a chance to reflect on our nation's history and to consider how we can make Australia an even better place in future.

The City of Ryde will be presenting the 2020 Ryde Citizen of the Year Awards at a special Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony to be held at the North Ryde School of Arts on Sunday 26 January 2020. There will also be a special presentation ceremony to honour our local firefighters and emergency services volunteers.

The ceremony will begin at 11am sharp and all members of the public are invited to attend.

There will also be collection buckets on the day.
