Ryde Eisteddfod 2025 Strings

Orchestral stringed instruments such as violin, viola, cello and bass and classical guitar are what you might expect at the Ryde Eisteddfod 2025 string competitions. But there are are a few surprise events too.

Competitions are organised through age brackets and other themed events. There are string solos for 7 years and under, 8-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-14 years and 15-18 years. There are also competitions restricted to no higher than AMEB Grade 2 and others to no higher than AMEB Grade 4. There is also an unaccompanied Bach section and events for non-orchestral and even amplified instruments.

Our local youth have practiced their musical art with heart and soul in anticipation of the 2025 Eisteddfod. Please support local youth musical talent in the Ryde area by being a part of the supportive audience. Tickets can be purchased at the door or via Trybookings.
