Social Inclusion Week

The City of Ryde celebrated Social Inclusion Week from 23 November to 1 December 2019.
Social inclusion is about creating conditions that allow everyone to have equal opportunities. This means that all people have the best opportunities to enjoy life and do well in society. The promotion of social inclusion policies has demonstrated its effectiveness in bringing people together and reducing discrimination within communities across the world.

Council offers a range of programs designed to assist those with a disability including our:

  • Home modification and maintenance service
  • Assisted bin collection service
  • Home library service
