Social Inclusion Week

Join the City of Ryde as we all come together as a community to celebrate Social Inclusion Week, which will be held from 21 - 29 November 2020.

The week will be dedicated to promoting the benefits of social inclusion and how we can all work together to create conditions that allows everyone to have equal opportunities. There will be something for everyone with a series of fun events aimed at connecting people and groups within the City of Ryde community. Stay tuned for more information. 

Social inclusion is about creating conditions that allow everyone to have equal opportunities. This means that all people have the best opportunities to enjoy life and do well in society. The promotion of social inclusion policies has demonstrated its effectiveness in bringing people together and reducing discrimination within communities across the world.

Council offers a range of programs designed to assist those with a disability including our:

  • Home modification and maintenance service
  • Assisted bin collection service
  • Home library service
