Be Connected

The Be Connected program is a series of face-to-face training courses aimed at seniors who are beginning their technology journey. Each course is designed to build your digital skills, confidence and safety online guided by our professional Library Staff. There will be three courses on offer covering: Basic Computer & Internet Skills, BYOD Android devices and BYOD Apple devices.

Bookings for each course will open one month (4 weeks) before the start of the course and can be made in person at one of our library branches or by calling Ryde Library on 9952 8352. Each course is free to attend and all attendees are expected to attend each session.

Please note that you must be a member of City of Ryde Libraries to book these classes. If you are not a member, you can find information on how to join on our Library Membership page or speak to staff in any of our branches. We strongly suggest becoming a member before the date that bookings open to ensure that your booking process is as smooth as possible.

Funding to run these courses has been provided by a grant from the Good Things Australia.
