Library Closures

Half Day Closure – Friday 12 December

City of Ryde Libraries will open as per usual on Friday 12 December, but all branches will close early from 11.30am. All branches will reopen Saturday 13 December per normal operating hours. After-hours chutes will be available as well as our online library.

Christmas & New Years Closure Period

All City of Ryde Libraries will be closed from 12:00pm noon on Wednesday 24 December reopening 9:30am – 5.00pm on Saturday 3 January 2026. Normal operating hours resuming for all branches from Saturday 3 January 2026. After-hours return chutes and online library will be available during this time.
