Ryde District Historical Society Open Day

Visit historic Willandra House, an 1840s Georgian home, for displays of memorabilia of the Ryde District's history from its origins.

Owned and maintained by Ryde City Council, the restored building was opened in 1980 and is home to the Ryde District Historical Society.

You can explore the house and its views over the Parramatta River; watch our movie on the district though the years; see our displays; what’s in our Archives, how did your street look in the past?; and purchase RDHS publications. Entry and parking is via Willandra Street.

Please note there is no disabled access to Willandra and there are some stairs and uneven surfaces.
