Calling all creatives aged 18 and over!
Join us at Ryde Library for a FREE Community Creative Meet-Up, hosted by Artisans Ryde. A welcoming community gathering where creativity and conversation come together!
Whether you're an experienced artist, an enthusiastic hobbyist or simply enjoy expressing yourself through art, we'd love you to join us.
Bring along your current creative project, work at your own pace and enjoy the company of fellow creatives. Share ideas, exchange techniques, tell your creative stories and perhaps discover some fresh inspiration along the way.
🎨 BRING YOUR CREATIVITY!
We welcome a variety of creative mediums, including:
- Pencil drawing and sketching
- Acrylic painting
- Collage
- Needlework and textile crafts
Please note: To help keep our shared library space clean, comfortable and safe for everyone, oil paints, glitter, plaster and other messy or difficult-to-clean materials are not permitted.
MORE THAN JUST ART!
Canvas & Conversations is about creating a happy, inclusive and supportive space where people can relax, express themselves, make new friendships and celebrate the joy of creativity.
There's no pressure, no competition and no need to be an expert. Just bring your creativity, your project and a willingness to connect!
✨ Come for the creativity, stay for the conversations!
Join us at Top Ryde Library and become part of a community where ideas are shared, friendships are formed and inspiration flourishes.
Registration is essential.
Photographs will be taken during the workshop and may be used in promotional material by Artisans Ryde Inc. and/or City of Ryde Libraries. If you do not want your photo taken, please let the Programme Coordinator know on the day.
Because creativity is even better when shared!
