Let coffee stains ignite your emotions and feelings in your mind from the image that appears in the coffee stain. Letting your subconscious mind express what it wants; and leaving your hands free to let them work spontaneously, utilising different tones, colouring pencils, textas and watercolour paper you will create a masterpiece from the initial stain. No artistic skills are needed, let your imagination run free.
The Australia Korean Art Therapy Association (AKATA) has been training local Korean art therapists since 2006, volunteering in Korean communities. To promote mental health and well-being, regular group therapies have been delivered to diverse local groups: disabled youths, elders, and disadvantaged women and children
This is one of their most popular workshops and they help facilitate from abstract images to exquisite works of art . Another added benefit is learning mindfulness strategies to have better mental health. Abstract images might shape your past trauma, current issues of life, or dreams and aspirations: they will help communicate with inner self to build strategies on how effectively you can resolve negative issues and restore positive mindset.
