The Grand Street Parade, proudly sponsored by Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club will commence at 9:30am bringing a spectacular celebration of colour, music and community spirit to the streets of Eastwood. Experience the energy of marching bands, vibrant community floats, talented dancers, and of course, the much-loved Festival Float featuring Mrs Smith herself.

For the best parade viewing experience head to Rowe Street. Simply follow the pink parade route on the festival map and arrive early to secure your spot.

Granny Smith Festival Parade Competition

Parade applications have now closed.

On festival day, parade participants will have the chance to compete for the title of Most Creative and Exciting Parade Group. Judging will take place during the Grand Street Parade, with judges looking for groups that bring energy, creativity and festival spirit through their costumes, props, performances and overall presentation.

Be sure to cheer on your favourite parade groups as they make their way along the parade route and help celebrate the vibrant community spirit that makes the Granny Smith Festival so special.

Parade Competition Prizes

The winners will receive:

  • 1st Prize: $200 Anystore Gift Card 
  • 2nd Prize: $100 Anystore Gift Card 
  • 3rd Prize: $50 Anystore Gift Card
