2026 Lunar New Year Festival Survey Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is the City of Ryde of 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113, ABN number 81 621 292 610.
  2. The City of Ryde “Australia Day Celebrations” competition commences at 4:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Saturday 28 February 2026 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 8 March 2026. No purchase is necessary.
  3. Entry into the promotion is open to residents of NSW, Australia who are 18 years or older.
  4. City of Ryde staff members, councillors and their families and any promotional partners are not able to enter the competition.
  5. Entries are limited to one (1) per person.
  6. To enter the competition, entrants must complete and submit the Lunar New Year Festival Survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/RydeLNY26 or www.surveymonkey.com/r/RydeLNYMultiple
  7. Participation in the competition by completing the above step is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  8. Participants who do not provide a valid Australian telephone number/email and their name will have their entry voided.
  9. The Prizes consist of:
  10. The competition is a game of chance. The winners will be drawn at random on Tuesday 10 March 2026.
  11. The winners will be notified within two (2) working days of the draw taking place by the telephone/email provided in the online survey entry and will be provided with details of how to claim the prize.
  12. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 24 hours, the winner will forfeit their prize, which will be offered to the winner of the subsequent draw.
  13. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  14. The Prize is subject to any conditions imposed by the Promoter.
  15. In the case of event cancellation, the Prize will be forfeited.
  16. By entering the competition, the winner consents to their name being published as winner of the competition and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats.
  17. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any of the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  19. City of Ryde will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
