Non-urgent requests can be logged online 24/7.

Waste Collection

Kerbside Bin Collection
Bin collection will operate on the usual days and will not be affected by the Christmas and New Year public holidays.

Bookings for the pre-booked Household CleanUp Service
Telephone bookings for the Pre-booked Household CleanUp Service will close from midday on Friday 22 December to Tuesday 26 December 2023 , however you will still be able to book online.

Household CleanUp Collections are operating as usual, including on all the public holidays.

e-Waste Collections
e-waste Collections will be closed on public holidays, Friday 22 December to Tuesday 26 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024.

Bin Repairs/Replacements 
Bin Repair/Replacement services will not be available on public holidays, Friday 22 December to Tuesday 26 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024.

Cleanaway Ryde Resource Recovery Centre
The Ryde Transfer Station will be closed on public holidays and weekends, Monday 25 to Tuesday 26 December 2023  and Monday 1 January 2024.

Community Recycling Centre (CRC)
The Community Recycling Centre (CRC) will be closed from 12pm on Friday 22 December 2023  to Thursday 4 January 2024, reopening on Friday 5 January 2024.

Shop Ryder Bus Service 

The Shop Ryder Bus Service runs from Wednesday to Saturday and will not be available on the days listed below. 

Libraries

All City of Ryde Libraries will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period. 

The after hours return chutes will be available at all libraries during the closure for your convenience. You can also make use of our online library services through the City of Ryde website at any time.
