Storytime and Rhymetime Programs

Here are a few reminders to ensure that everyone has fun at our sessions:

  • Encourage your child to participate and stay with them for the whole session
  • Be respectful of others
  • Please be punctual where possible
  • Please ask staff for permission to film or take photos during the session

Join us for a fun session of stories and songs to introduce your child to the wonderful world of books!

Every last Thursday of the month, following the Storytime session, specialist therapist for children's development will attend the session and be available for questions, discussions or provide resources to support your child's development and wellbeing. Please see schedule below for Term 1 2026:

Auslan Storytime

Auslan Storytime

Auslan Storytime Auslan Storytime is a fun interactive storytelling session lead by a Deaf storyteller, aimed at supporting early literacy development in Auslan and written English.

Ages: These sessions are tailored to Deaf and hard of hearing children aged 3 to 7 years, and their families.

Held during school term only.

Presented by DeafConnect and City of Ryde Libraries. Bookings recommended but not essential.
