This project will deliver stages 3 and 4 of the Meadowbank Park Masterplan, adopted in 2019. These stages cover the demolition of the Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA) club building and adjacent amenities building and construction of a new central amenities building as well as the conversion of the existing netball asphalt courts to two full size natural turf playing field, plus ancillary works.

Council received a $6,048,400 grant through the NSW Department of Planning and Environment Accelerated Infrastructure Fund (AIF) to contribute to this project. These funds are being combined with Council funding to deliver the project.

In September 2025, the head contract for the full scope of works will be awarded. Following contract award, resident notification letters will be issued to neighbouring properties and information provided on the changes in parking arrangements at the facility.

Construction works are anticipated to commence in October 2025 with initial works being site setup and demolition of both the existing amenities building and the existing netball courts. Construction works are forecasted for completion in September 2026, subject to weather and unknown site conditions.
