During the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre hosted the preliminary water polo competitions and the women's water polo semi-finals

The existing venue was demolished in November 1998 and rebuilding commenced in April 1999. The re-build was completed in April 2000, opening in May 2000 prior to the Sydney Olympics starting in September.

Today, The Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre (RALC) boasts an extensive range of water based learning programs, activities and features as well as a wide variety of junior and senior sporting programs held at our indoor stadium.

So whether you are looking for a workout or a relaxing time, the RALC has it all under the one roof!
