Defibrillators in the City of Ryde

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a life-saving device that uses an electric shock to help reset the heart. As sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in Australia, defibrillators are a vital tool. AEDs are automated devices, so first aid responders require little or no training in order to use them.
