Learn how to better understand oral health care at this free community information session.

Join us for an informative and welcoming session at West Ryde Library.

This free session will share practical, easy-to-understand information about good oral health care.

Good oral health care is about practicing good oral hygiene with regular brushing and flossing. eating and drinking healthy foods low in sugar and having regular dental check-ups.

Oral Health Care sessions are delivered in partnership with the Oral Health Unit, Centre for Education and Research on Ageing, Aged Health Chronic Care & Rehabilitation.

During the session the speakers will cover the information below:

  • Importance of a healthy mouth
  • Common oral health problems
  • Five messages for a healthy mouth
  • Diet and exercise for a healthy mouth
  • Caring for dentures
  • Tips for free dental services

The Health Promotion Service for Older People (HPSOP) from the Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association (CPSA) is a community-based health education program that provides free health education sessions for older people in NSW. Established in 1991, HPSOP is funded by NSW Health through the Western Sydney Local Health District
